Hey guys! Happy Monday!
I’m so excited to share these images of yesterday with you. We finally made it to the beach again, yassss!!!
It was a warm relaxed lazy Saturday for us, but Sunday we decided to brave the crazy merciless Accra traffic and escape to this slice of beach heaven. Remind me to tell you of Accra traffic some time… or actually, maybe not. It’s total madness!!!
The day started out dark and gloomy, on par with the weather these days, and it all out started to pour by the time we reached the Kasoa area. The homebody in me started to twiddle her thumbs in panic and wanted to turn around and head straight back home, but the adventurer in me kept the panic in check and hoped for the best! Luckily, it was M at the helm and he got us to our destination where we came to meet this (!) :
M the Magic Man! He’s the best!
It turned out to be a thoroughly beautiful day. The weather cleared up beautifully, and the changes to the hues of sky and sea as the hours went by were really breathtaking to see.
Sooo, I had on this simple white tunic which I paired with white shorts and customized Ankara slippers. Because of the beautiful colorful embroidery at the neck, there was no need for any elaborate accessories, so I kept it simple in that department with only a couple of neutral beads and a pop of blue. I liked the simple fresh tribal chic result. I think it’s a yassss!
Hope you enjoy this set of images and escape with us to this slice of heaven! Have a blissful productive week!
